What Do Real Estate Agents Do?
It depends on your realtor. They should be educating you about the process, providing information, and guiding you through each step. They’ll also direct you to relevant professionals to ensure you get the advice you need to close the transaction—this could include financing, legal advice, an accountant, or a home inspector.
Ultimately, it’s the realtor’s job to be the grease between all of those wheels. Some realtors—ourselves included—offer ongoing support for as long as you own the home. Anytime you have a real estate question, you should feel comfortable leaning on your agent. They were compensated well to help you purchase your home, and they should be there 24/7 for anything you might need related to your real estate.
