I believe that real estate is an important asset class which should be included in your portfolio and will help with the growth of your net worth.  I enjoy the opportunity to help people with the purchase of one of the largest assets they will usually own.  Whether it's a first-time homebuyer working to enter the real estate market to finally have a place to call their own, or helping an investor purchase a rental or vacation property.  It's great to have the opportunity to assist people though the entire process. 

I like that my career provides me with the opportunity to help people work through what can be a very large and emotional transaction.  It's amazing to see the excitment that people have once they finally realize their homeownership dreams.

I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.  Whether its skiing with my family in the winter, or relaxing on the lake during the summer, any time outdoors is time well spent!  When I’m not outdoors, I’m usually working on a home improvement project or coaching one of my kids' sports teams.

Honestly, I really only read The Economist on a weekly basis. The last book I read was probably "The Wealthy Barber" by David Chilton after completing university.
